There’s something special about watching children fall in love with reading 📚
At Litchella, our students explored stories, created, connected, and experienced the joy that comes from being part of a community that truly values literature.
Moments like these are what stay with them.

What happens when talent meets courage?
Our 8th graders didn’t just perform... they told stories, took risks, and owned that stage.
From the first line to the final bow, this show was a reflection of their growth, creativity, and confidence.
So proud of this incredible group.

Our 8th graders are on their way ✨
We are so proud to celebrate the incredible high schools our students will be attending this fall.
From WNS to the next chapter, they leave with confidence, curiosity, and a strong sense of who they are.
We can’t wait to see all that they accomplish.💙

From WNS… to the Lincoln Memorial 🇺🇸
A few of our students had the opportunity to work alongside artist Ed Massey as part of Portraits of Hope, a project that will be displayed on the Reflecting Pool in Washington, DC.
Through this experience, they contributed to a large-scale installation with national impact.
We can’t wait to see their work come to life on a national stage.

From sketch to large-scale installation, they experienced what it means to create something bigger than themselves.

Big ideas start with a simple sketch. ✍️
Students in the makerspace started with an original sketch, then measured, traced, and began cutting their design in wood. It’s exciting to watch an idea take shape through creativity and hands-on learning.
Swipe to the end to see the final rendering of what
they’re creating. ✨

Over the past few months, our ECC artists have returned to their self-portraits, and the growth is just beautiful.
Working with markers on slippery transparencies takes steady hands, deep focus, and the patience that comes from slowing down and really looking. Students traced their features with intention, noticing the small details that make them uniquely themselves.
There were thoughtful conversations about hair, its length, texture, and the kinds of lines that could capture its movement.
Each portrait tells a story of growth, confidence, and care. We can’t wait to see them shining on our windows. 💛

What a season for our Girls Soccer team! Many started the year having never touched a soccer ball, and finished it playing with confidence, heart, and true teamwork. When they scored their first goal, the celebration felt like we had won the World Cup! Their journey is proof that trying something new truly pays off - a mindset we proudly encourage in Middle School at WNS!
