WISH Community and Academy High Schools The award-winning WISH Community and Academy Schools are free, non-profit public schools, home to mor WISH elementary co-locates with Orville Wright.

WISH Charter includes our K-8 school, as well as WISH Academy High School, all located in Westchester, California. The WISH middle school and WISH high school are located on the Westchester Learning Complex campus.

This week, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on some of the newest members of the WISH family! ❤️💙

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Jennifer Castleberry, Jaycee Cox, Shelby Pine, Anna Tarantino, and Karim Tharani! Our new teachers and school psychologist have already brought such wonderful energy, experience, and heart to our community.

Ryan is a kind, thoughtful, intelligent, and compassionate leader who makes a positive impact across our campus. A big thank you to everyone who joined us for such a fun and memorable Paint & Sip evening! Special thanks to Karina Fedasz, WISHForward President and WISH parent, for bringing our families together for a night filled with creativity, laughter, new connections, and a few hidden painting talents! 🖌️✨

It’s moments like these that make our WISH Community so special. ❤️

This week’s shout-out goes to Lily Crawford for her incredible generosity and hard work! Lily helped arrange a wonderful donation of desks, tables, and chairs for both our WISH Community Elementary and Middle School campuses, then went the extra mile by coordinating moving trucks and personally helping get everything delivered and in place.

We are SO grateful to have Mr. Drian on our WISH Middle School team! As our Behavior & Culture Coordinator, he has gone above and beyond to help kick off the school year with positive energy, care, and connection.

From greeting students each morning, to supervising (and joining in on the fun!) at lunch, to building meaningful relationships with new and returning students, Mr. Drian truly does it all.

A huge thank you to Betty Beck and our amazing WCA for making the first day of school extra special for our teachers and staff! 🫶 The thoughtful snacks and drinks were the perfect treat during a busy day and made our team feel so appreciated and cared for.
