Congratulations and thank you to the casts of Shrek Jr. The Musical, our dedicated teachers, and the many parents who so generously gave their time, talent, and support: Mrs. East, Miss Chan, Mr. Johnson, Mrs. Nemoinanu, Miss Ponce, Mr. Wright, Mrs. Sauer, and all of our incredible parent volunteers. We could not have done this without you!
Thank you to everyone who contributed in any way to make this production possible. Both casts delivered spectacular performances, the stage crews were on top of their game and we are so proud of all that was accomplished. SBS is blessed to have this incredible Performing Arts program!

Our beloved Kindergarten teacher, Ms. Herman, will be retiring from St. Brendan School at the end of this school year. This week, we held a special assembly celebrating her incredible 31 years of service to our school community. We were honored to welcome many of her former students, some of Kindergarten’s favorite characters, and dear friends from throughout the community to celebrate this special occasion.
Ms. Herman’s impact on St. Brendan School has been immeasurable. In recognition of the love, dedication, and joy she has brought to generations of students and families, we proudly unveiled a plaque naming our playground in her honor.
Thank you, Ms. Herman, for the countless lives you have touched and the legacy you leave behind at St. Brendan School. We love you and wish you all the best in your retirement!

Our students, staff, parents, and friends gathered together as a community yesterday to enjoy Nick’s favorite lunch and celebrate the spirit of Nick Fagnano. All profits will help fund projects and improvements to the Tia Tatiana school and orphanage in Santo Domingo in honor of Nick Fagnano.
We helped celebrate Nick by having all of our students wear crazy accessories for the day. It was something so small but brought so much joy.
Always and forever a St. Brendan Bear. ☘️🐻

Our Multicultural Fair was held this past Saturday on campus, showcasing the wonderful diversity of St. Brendan families. The event celebrated cultures from Taiwan, India, Japan, El Salvador, the Philippines, Mozambique, Canada, Ireland, Germany, Korea, Mexico, Native America, and Spain.
We enjoyed a performance by the Fil-Am performing arts group, Kayamanan Ng Lahi, who shared the richness and diversity of Philippine culture through dance and we also had a special performance from the Celtic Irish Dance Academy, under the direction of Riverdance star Maeve Croke.
We appreciate the beautiful community that came together to celebrate this day with us. ☘️

🎨 The art room has been a hive of activity this spring. Our SBS students have made handmade eggs (which were filled with adorable Easter bunnies and chicks), papier-mache animals, self-portraits, reimagined logos, locker magnets, blind bags, wearable sculpture, and much, much more!
We’re so grateful to our parent community, who support the arts at St. Brendan and allow us to offer such a dynamic program. 🎨☘️

St. Brendan’s Class of 2026 recently led our school in the Stations of the Cross. This special tradition walks us through fourteen moments from Jesus’ final day and gives us time to pause and reflect. Our 8th grade students did a wonderful job as narrators and performers, helping bring each station to life in a meaningful way.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in this experience. We would also like to wish all of our school community a happy and blessed Easter!
