GSSPS is a Board Approved CE provider. At Golden State Speech Pathology Services, Inc., we strive to employ passionate, dedicated, and driven Speech-Language Pathologists to serve students in public, non-public, and charter schools. We aim to hire therapists that understand the importance of building children's communication skills so that they advance in their academic achievement, as well as in their role and purpose within their community. Our therapists are passionate about giving back to communities in which the children reside by actively participating or donating to local organizations and charities. When you contract with an outstanding therapist from Golden State, we deliver speech therapists that understand the importance of teamwork, who are up-to-date on new technology, have continued their education to stay current on new skills, and also research projects in your neighborhoods in which to participate in making a difference. Our therapists provide services for children with a wide variety of disabilities including Autism, Specific Language Disorders, Stuttering, articulation delays, and more. Therapist provide direct individual therapy or group sessions, and assist staff by helping to run centers within the classroom. Therapist also work with parents, teachers, and other professionals to assist with meeting the child's needs. Our SLPs teach you about the importance of education, family, and community, while nourishing and enhancing their independence. Together, we can all make a difference. GSSPS strives to build a family from within. Golden State Speech Pathology Services, Inc. is a Board-Approved CE provider offering CE courses beginning January 2022.

We wanted to show our GRATITUDE for all that the staff does (35+ ppl) to support our communication strategies with our students. We wanted our team to EAT, DRINK, and enjoy! Is your BUSY speech life keeping you from experiencing happiness and joy on the job? Does the hustle and bustle of the field leave you feeling depleted at the end of your day? Let me show you how you can implement some simple strategies to help you show up as your best SLP/SLPA self.

I'm Stephanie Michele, a working Speech Language Pathologist, in the sunny state of California. I love to keep my toes in just about everything I can, from running an NPA, to working contract assignments, to managing real estate as well as working an online business. I completely understand what it feels like to be burnt out or overwhelmed by it all-- and that's just my professional life. I haven't even mentioned my responsibilities of my personal life.

But, having learned evidenced-based strategies through my intensive 2-year training in Mindfulness and Compassion Based practices and becoming certified as a teacher, I now can show up in my SLP role in a fresh, new way, ready to tackle any challenge that I meet. I have learned how to create boundaries and say "NO", how to advocate for my needs, how to manage my self-care, and how to be in communion with others in a wise and compassionate way. Most importantly, I have learned how to love myself more!
