SOOOO much fun throwing another CORE WORD celebration party with our rock star SLPA Tess, at our NPS.
We wanted to show our GRATITUDE for all that the staff does (35+ ppl) to support our communication strategies with our students. We wanted our team to EAT, DRINK, and enjoy! Prizes were presented and certificates given for our star team players who are in the trenches doing the work! GOOD JOB, team.

I'm Stephanie Michele, a working Speech Language Pathologist, in the sunny state of California. I love to keep my toes in just about everything I can, from running an NPA, to working contract assignments, to managing real estate as well as working an online business. I completely understand what it feels like to be burnt out or overwhelmed by it all-- and that's just my professional life. I haven't even mentioned my responsibilities of my personal life.
But, having learned evidenced-based strategies through my intensive 2-year training in Mindfulness and Compassion Based practices and becoming certified as a teacher, I now can show up in my SLP role in a fresh, new way, ready to tackle any challenge that I meet. I have learned how to create boundaries and say "NO", how to advocate for my needs, how to manage my self-care, and how to be in communion with others in a wise and compassionate way. Most importantly, I have learned how to love myself more!
