UCLA MFA Acting, School of TFT

The MFA Acting program at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television is creating a new concept in a graduate acting program.

The intention is to provide support for the UCLA MFA Acting Program, and to make friends, supporters and people interested in UCLA Graduate Acting aware of the new direction of the program. Additionally this page stands to help point possible applicants towards areas that might help them apply for admission. Our goal of this unofficial page is to continue to support the UCLA MFA Acting Program's ideals of international collaborations, inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary work, with a particular emphasis on the idea of ensemble and devised work.

SpaceBridge, conceived and directed by Irina Kruzhilina is inspiring, and shows the kindness, generosity, and creativity of children who see beyond bias, prejudice, borders, and superficial differences.

It brings children from Russia together with their American counterparts to build lifelong friendships while coming to terms with their differences.

The performance tracks the struggles of children, now living in New York’s shelter system, whose families were forced to escape Russia and enter the US through Mexico because of their antiwar views.
It will be performed on June 6th, one night only at the at the Ellen Stewart Theatre at La MaMa ETC.

Make sure you don’t miss it and bring tissues, you’ll walk out of the theater with your heart full of love and hope.
