🦋 This year the AB540 Project will be hosting the 14th annual Educator’s conference on Saturday May 21st, 2022 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at the University of California, Los Angeles (*Note: Subject to change) 🎊

🦋All educators and undocuallies are welcome! Come learn about the tools and resources needed to empower our undocumented students on their path towards higher education.🎓 It is critical for our students to obtain the proper guidance, therefore our workshops and presentations aim towards providing our attendees with the most up to date information on immigration policies, financial aid, and other available resources. Come support the undocumented community. ✊🏽

The conference is dedicated to empowering, educating, and paving a way for undocumented youth to pursue higher education and make a difference in their communities. The conference will be held on May 21, 2022 from 9:00A.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

This year’s virtual Educator’s Conference will consist of three main workshops.

The first workshop will be hosted by UC Immigrant Legal Services Specialist, Theresa Edwards. She will be covering important legislation and policies that impact undocumented students. ⚖️

The second workshop will be hosted by Fullerton College’s Grads to be Program Specialist, Julio Reyes. He will be covering financial aid and several ways for undocumented students to fund it.🧾

The third workshop will be hosted by CHIRLA’s California Dream Network Statewide Organizer, Melody Klingenfuss. She will be presenting about ways to cultivate a more nurturing and supportive environment for undocumented students. 🦋

📌UPDATE: In light of the rising cases of COVID-19 and UCLA’s protocols, our 14th Annual Educator’s Conference has now moved from an in-person event to a virtual event!

Due to these new changes, more people are able to join us and so registration has now re-opened! We look forward to meeting everyone and getting to share this informative and empowering session with all of you. We appreciate your flexibility and how understanding everyone has been as we try to navigate these unprecedented times.
