CIR resident members from the Southern California region. Residents at UCI have established a housestaff union and have sought recognition from UCI.

Most departments at UCI have chosen
representatives in order to ensure that residents throughout the hospital have a voice when union decisions are made. In the near future, a bargaining team comprised of housestaff will be negotiating our future salaries, benefits, and working conditions with UCI administration.
