One of our favorite aspects of what we do here at The People Place is being able to welcome a variety of guest speakers - skilled experts in their fields, joining us to share their knowledge and experience. On February 1st at 1pm, we are thrilled to welcome Anisa Kassim, infant, pediatric and adult acupuncturist from , to visit us for our very own acupuncture clinic at The People Place. She’ll give us treatments and share her wealth of knowledge on homeopathic and natural wellness for the whole family. And as a thank you to our wonderful community, we are doing a giveaway for a free spot in Anisa’s acupuncture class!

Starting January 9th, The People Place will be hosting an evening dads group. This dad-only group will be led by Jeremy Rosenprinz, parent educator, preschool teacher, and communication skills expert. Dads will leave this six-class series with tools and strategies that will help them be a more communicative, empathic, and supportive father and partner. Beer and light snacks will be served. This class series begins January 9th, so make sure to sign up now through the link in our bio or on our website!

We have a lot new group offerings starting in the new year, including a special gathering just for parents. Our Toddler Parents’ Brunch will happen every first Saturday of the month, starting January 6th. From 10-11:30am, parents can join us to discuss the complications that come with raising an opinionated toddler! Starting next month, The People Place will be hosting two new dads groups! Our Evening Dads Group begins January 9th and will be on Tuesdays from 7 to 8:30pm, and the DILF Dad & Baby Group kicks off on January 13th and will be on Saturdays from 10-11:15. Both groups will provide helpful parenting resources and a place for dads to build vital community.
