If there is one thing that I've learned from getting hacked, (yes, my IG account was hacked and is being held for ransom....it's nuts) is the importance of being able to stay connected to community. I'm building community over on patreon, where I can continue to support those raising littles or raising themselves! Please join us there and spread the word!

We begin school on Monday and only have 2 spaces left for children ages 3-5 and potty trained. We prefer siblings, for the sake of safety and trying to limit the amount of households in attendance. If you are looking for a safe space to educate and love your children with professional educators and excellent and culturally relevant curriculum and enrichment, please contact today at [email protected]
Our hours will be Monday-Friday 9:30-3:30. We will have Music Master Class and Field trips 2/month and individualized learning and attention with an emphasis on early literacy, emotional intelligence and culturally diverse curriculum that empowers early learners to be future leaders.
If you are interested, please contact us asap. Thank you!

Are you struggling with:

😫balancing your time
😥getting ME time
😭pursuing your own goals while meeting your child’s needs
😡challenging behaviors (TANTRUMS)
😣keeping your child engaged
😟ensuring your child is meeting the milestones
😩nurturing your child in their challenges
😳cultivating your child in their strengths
🤬YELLING! at your child(ren) to get them to cooperate
😖keeping your home in order with littles running around
😣prepping them for school
This course is for YOU!!! As an award winning Early Childhood Educator for 20+ years, I have implemented years of learning and experience educating Early Learners, taken tools from the classroom (and running a preschool for 10 years) INTO my home and found SO MUCH SUPPORT and PEACE in the ability to raise SIX children, still run a business, and manage a clean/organized home! Most parenting frustrations come from EXPECTATIONS that aren’t meeting our reality! But we don’t always know what to expect and are just left in limbo, asking “what am I supposed to do?” Or “am I even doing this right?”
I want to support you by teaching you my Pillars for P.E.AC.E.ful parenting that I developed from my knowledge and experience as an Early Childhood Educator.
You’ll leave with:
🕊more confidence in yourself as a parent
🧩More tools for raising your child with MORE PEACE
🕊more realistic expectations of your child’s milestones
🧩understanding of whether your Child is meeting the milestones
🕊how to identify your child’s strengths, challenges and learning style so that you can
🧩better communicate with your child(ren) for better cooperation
♥️♥️and MORE!♥️♥️
Don’t miss out! I’m looking forward to connecting with you and supporting you in raising your littles!

We know Josephine Baker was an amazing performer but did you know that she was brilliant and served as an international spy?! Even more fascinating, to me, she would carry sheet music that held hidden messages in invisible ink when traveling from country to country to share information as a spy.
Read this book (swipe) with your gem.
Play with invisible ink using white crayons and water colors. You can write your gem a secret message and have them discover it by painting over the page with water colors. You can also have your gem write or draw their own pics with white crayon for you to paint over in water color and discover the message.
As always, I encourage writing affirmations as your hidden message. “You are Strong”, “you are brilliant!”, “You are able!” So on and so on!!
Have fun!

Our gems have been super into dinosaurs lately, so we learned about the first black paleontologist. But what I love most about Luis Purcell, is that paleontology was just ONE of the many amazing things he was!!
We ask our children “what do you want to BE when you grow up” and leave space for only one answer! I love this example of someone who was into air, space, bones and so much more!! Simply gem-azing!
Read some dinosaur books with your gem. Use dry noodles while looking at (Toy or Pictures) of Dinosaurs to build their fossils out of noodles.
Our gems also enjoyed this fun game of dino tic tax toe.
And if you scroll my page you’ll see some other fun Dino activities and fossil searches/digs from earlier this/last month!

I love this artist because her art over the years changed, she didn’t stick with just one style of art! She continued learning, studying, exploring and traveling the world and constantly implemented new inspirations into her artwork!
Jones also didn’t like that Black artists rarely received recognition in their time, she traveled to France where the social culture was so much different than the US, it inspired her further and Jones became one of the only artists of her time to be recognized and honored in real time! This was intentional! Go get your recognition!
One of my favorite art books to read with my gems is “beautiful oops” that teaches how you can take a mistake and turn it into something beautiful. Read this with them as you study some amazing artists.
I included some textile inspired black history crafts you can do at home with your gems in honor of Jones and her textile artwork.
Each craft is made from fully recyclable material we found laying around and scrap paper. Cut the paper into squares, spread glue over your paper and let them have fun pasting their squares down. See if they start to make patterns, talk about the colors and sizes that they see and are using.
For the Africa craft, we painted on canvas, then crafted the African continent and cut it out and then modgepodged it onto the canvas.
For the MLK peace craft we glued a Peace Dove in the center after crafting the papers. We talked about the different color squares representing different people and diversity and the dove representing peace.
Happy Black History Month!

Our Hidden Gem highlight for today is the young prodigy!! And he is the same age as our little gems! Show them people their age who look like them and were amazing people in our history!!
Make a letter P for Piano craft.
Teach them about their five senses. Pinterest is FULL of fun 5 senses activities but swipe to see one here.
You can also do things like filling baby food jars with cinnamon, coffee beans, vinegar, etc, blind fold them and have them guess the smell. You can also use baby food to have them guess the taste. So much on senses we can do for fun!!
If you have instruments at the house let them be a little musician today!!

Georgia Gilmore is one of my favorite gems in history!! So often we’re faced with the question, “What can I do? How can I do it?” This woman worked in her gifts to support one of the greatest movements of her time and humbly helped make giant strides in our history!!
Swipe for a book recommendation and some fun activities you can do with your gems at home while learning about this Hidden Gem in our Black History!

Benjamin Bradley was only 16 years old when he built the first steam engine with no formal education.
Swipe to see some activities you can do with your gems at home as they learn about Benjamin Bradley
We made an ocean out of shaving cream and added colors (food coloring) that they might see in the ocean, gems had sensory fun mixing colors and playing in our ocean. The explored what animals may be in the ocean and used manipulative to build their own ships.
Benjamin Bradley also made ropes as a means for income. Another fun activity you can do with you gems is making rope out of yarn. They can use these ropes for fun, bracelets, necklaces, plant hangers, belts, coasters and more.
Have fun and if you build a ship, or a rope necklace, post and tag us ❤
