Tajima High School (ATKTHS) is a free, public charter school under the management of the Alliance College-Ready Public Schools. The charter for College-Ready Academy High School was approved by the Los Angeles Unified School District in 2011. Alliance College-Ready Public Schools is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to open and operate a network of small, high performing charter middle and high schools in historically underachieving, low income, overcrowded communities in Los Angeles. ATKTHS builds upon the mission of the Alliance by preparing students to succeed in a four-year college or university upon graduation.

Yesterday, our 12th graders had an amazing day exploring The Huntington, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens! 🌿📚✨

Our Wolverines explored the incredible museums and art collections, took in the beautiful gardens, stopped to smell the flowers 🌸, and even got creative by designing their very own quilt patterns! 🧵🎨

It was a day filled with art, history, creativity, and hands-on learning. Our Wolverine seniors made some wonderful memories along the way! 🩵🧡

Class of 2026, did we mention we’ll miss y’all? 🩵🧡

If we could post all the pictures of graduation, we would (we probably will). We are so incredibly proud of you all and it was an honor to watch you cross that stage. We hope you stop by and visit us every so often during your next journey. This is not a goodbye, but a see you later! Once a Wolverine, always a Wolverine! 🐾

With lots of love and care,
W***y & the rest of the Tajima family

We are so proud of you 🩵🧡 These past four years have been nothing but full of wonderful memories with you all. You all will be truly missed. Before the day ends, we want to make a quick post for our wonderful teachers at Tajima!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! 🩵🧡

The surprises throughout this week were just a small token of our gratitude for everything you do for our students, families, and school community. We truly cannot thank you enough for your patience, dedication, compassion, and unwavering support. Your hard work and commitment never go unnoticed.

Thank you for inspiring our students each and every day and for continuously creating opportunities that help them grow, succeed, and believe in themselves, not only during their time here at Tajima, but also in their future post secondary paths!

Because of your passion and commitment, we are proud to be TAJIMA. Thank you for helping make our school a California Distinguished School and one of the top 3% of high schools in the country! Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom, and we are so very grateful for all that you do. 🩵🧡
