🚨STREET CLOSURE NOTICE🚨The Echo Park Community Parade Committee, together with support from and , will be holding the yearly Echo Park Community Parade on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 11am to 1pm along Sunset Boulevard.
In order to accommodate the parade, from 9am until approximately 2pm, Sunset Boulevard and some adjoining intersections will be closed to traffic, per LAPD and LA DOT.
We are aware that this may inconvenience you and/or your neighbors and your customers. The Parade is an important event for our community and we appreciate your support and understanding.

The past couple of years have been a challenge for so many, and the Parade Committee was not immune to those significant changes. The Echo Park Community Parade is a 100% volunteer-run organization that event and relies on sponsorships to cover costs. Franklin High School needs your Help!!
Several classes / floors do not have a working AC and with this HEAT our children are struggling. We understand that administration has alerted the LAUSD of the issues but is having trouble getting this issue resolved.
Our children deserve working Air Conditioning!
Please Email the leaders who are supposed to protect our kids and demand that this issue be resolved immediately. If your child is at another school in HLP, these are the same people you need to email.
