I like a good drag show as much as anyone, but mocking central, historical religious imagery at the Olympics? Oh but it's ok because they didn't mock Islam (Allah forbid) or Judaism or Buddhism. Yes it's all very international and respectful of everyone, well, except for Christians and of course Catholics are the worst, right? So let's take a brake from all the international camaraderie and find some people to separate out and ridicule their most sacred beliefs.

What if the source of all,
created us on purpose
and still loved us infinitely?

After decades of Kabbalah and Western ceremonial magic,
this is the most effective quick magical practice I have found. A friend turned me on to it many years ago and I found it helpful and have since shared it with others who say the same. And I wasn't a Catholic then or now and the people I shared it with weren't either. It is said for 5 days. On the first 4 days after the prayer to St. Therese, say 5 Our Fathers, 5 Hail Marys and 5 Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. On the 5th day after the prayers are completed, offer one more set. Yes I know this might look a bit unsophisticated, but do you care if it works?

Temple Theology (a new field of scholarship of the noted Margaret Barker) finds many of the aspects of Christianity that have been credited as coming from pagan sources, are actually parts of First Temple Judaism. The Mother of God, the Holy Spirit, the Trinity, the Priest King, and even the incarnation of The Lord were all found in the Temple of Solomon and mostly suppressed in the Second Temple. It is now fairly obvious that before the Deuteronomy "reforms" Judaism was not monotheistic and the divine feminine was of utmost importance.

On high occasions in the temple the Priest King would ritually sit on the throne of the Mercy Seat and transform and become the Lord. Thus a temporary form of incarceration of the Lord occurred, and he could speak wisdom. Later it was lamented that wisdom was replaced by the law. Wisdom was also one of the titles of the divine feminine. After the revolution of the Second Temple, there were still groups that remembered the traditions of the First, and their influence can be seen in Christianity to this day. Margaret Barker also finds much of this First Temple tradition in Gnosticism.
