A Warning to the Flock
To the brothers and sisters of the flock,
As shepherds entrusted with the care of the flock, we have a responsibility before God to warn the people when there is a known danger or cause for concern. Scripture teaches us that the watchman must sound the warning when he sees danger approaching (Ezekiel 33:6).
It is therefore necessary that we make the following information known concerning Darash Yahawah, also known as Kymoni, formerly a leader and member of True Nation Israelite Congregation.
Former Apostle Darash Yahawah/Kymoni was removed from the fellowship of our congregation following several serious incidents involving conduct deemed unrighteous and contrary to the established order of the assembly. Following an incident involving an underage adolescent female, he remained excommunicated for multiple years. In the spirit of Galatians 6:1 and Luke 3:8, he was eventually permitted to return to the congregation and begin the process of restoration.
Through what appeared to be a sustained pattern of good works, he gradually regained the trust of the congregation and was ultimately reinstated to a position of leadership. As part of this process, he made a vow to uphold the standards established by our leadership in accordance with biblical law and principles governing personal conduct, courtship, marriage, leadership by example, and the overall order of the assembly.
However, despite these commitments, he repeatedly acted in a manner that demonstrated insubordination to the established leadership and its directives. Subsequent events raised serious concerns regarding his conduct and the sincerity with which he had made those commitments. Furthermore, after making decisions according to his own will, he attempted to justify his actions by citing doctrinal differences, rather than addressing the concerns surrounding his conduct and his failure to adhere to the commitments he had made.
Following his departure, he has established his own ministry, C4F (Contend 4 The Faith Ministries). Because individuals may encounter him or become involved with this ministry without knowing the circumstances surrounding his departure from our congregation, we believe it would be negligent for us to remain silent.
This warning is not given out of hatred, malice, or a desire for contention. It is given because we understand the solemn responsibility of those who watch over God's people.
“Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls...” — Hebrews 13:17
And again:
“Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.” — 1 Timothy 5:20
We therefore exhort the flock to exercise wisdom, discernment, and caution. Do not allow familiarity, charisma, titles, or religious speech to cause you to overlook matters that should be carefully considered.
Our purpose is to protect the flock, uphold righteousness, and fulfill our duty as shepherds before God.
