Zack and Jack fight next week.......
If you've ever trained with them, held pads for them, sparred with them, or simply watched their journey, come out and show your support. A fighter may step into the ring alone, but they should never feel alone.
Let's pack the venue with Saekson Academy shirts and make some noise.

They thought it was picture day. So we took one. Then we got to work. An hour later, we took another. One picture is clean shirts and fresh faces. The other is sweat, heavy breathing, tired legs, and another day of progress. If you're wondering which picture we like more... It's the second one. π₯πͺ

Happy Birthday Coach Sean! π
Ten years ago, Sean walked through our doors as a student. Since then, he's worn just about every hat possible.....student, fighter, teammate, and now coach. What has never changed is his loyalty, humility, and willingness to help others. Whether it's holding pads, helping a new student, cornering a fighter, or staying late when someone needs extra work, Sean is always there. Not everyone understands how valuable it is to have someone you can count on year after year. Sean has been that person for our team. He's a huge part of what makes Saekson Academy special, and we're grateful to have him in our corner. Happy Birthday, Coach Sean. Thank you for 10 years of dedication, friendship, and leadership. We appreciate you more than you know.

PLEASE READ!!!!!!!
I was having a conversation with one of my students the other day. He told me he was getting frustrated with fighting because it feels like everything has become a business. Social media. Self-promotion. Building a brand. Creating content. Selling yourself.
He said he wished it was more like the old days. Train hard. Show up. Fight.
And honestly, I understand where he's coming from.
Today, it can feel like the loudest voices get the most attention. Open social media and you'll see people talking trash, chasing clicks, and doing whatever they can to stand out.
But just because that's what gets shown doesn't mean it's the only path.
Some fighters sell fights with their mouths. Some sell fights with their personalities. And some sell fights by winning.
I've been around this sport a long time, and when it's all said and done, people know the difference.
They know who the talkers were. They know who the entertainers were.
But they also know who put in the work.
The funny part is that I'm posting this on social media. Years ago, this would've been a conversation after class, sitting on the edge of the ring.
But I think a lot of people feel this way right now.
Not just fighters.
People feel pressure to constantly promote themselves and prove their worth to the world.
And while there's nothing wrong with building a brand, don't mistake visibility for value.
Attention gets people to notice you.
Skill, character, consistency, and hard work are what make them remember you.
The world may reward attention in the short term, but it has always rewarded excellence in the long term.
Trends come and go.
Real respect lasts forever.

Three weeks....
Three weeks until we step back onto Thai soil and test ourselves against some of the best fighters at the Amazing Muay Thai Tournament. Last year gave us memories we'll never forget. This year, we're coming back with more experience, more hunger, and an even greater appreciation for the opportunity.
Representing the red, white, and blue is something we never take lightly. Bangkok, we're coming. πΊπΈπ₯πΉπ

One thing I love seeing is fighters with upcoming bouts showing up to support their teammates.
Too many people think this sport has to be a lonely journey. It doesn't.The best fighters aren't just focused on themselves. They're in the corner helping, they're holding pads, they're cheering from the crowd, and they're celebrating the wins of the people they train with every day. That's what being part of a team is all about. You don't have to do this alone. You can be part of something bigger than yourself. A real team. A real community. And if that's what you're looking for, this is where it's at.

If we opened another sparring slot, what time gets the best turnout?

The best part about this journey isnβt just creating fighters. Itβs watching young men realize theyβre capable of more than they ever believed.
5 years deep. Just getting started. Come watch
throw down this Saturday . Still got some tickets left. Let's go Max!!!
