Hi Folks,

A few items to wrap things up as we head into the final next week:

- HW #7 solutions have been posted and we plan on having graded HW #7 available for return after the final exam. Unfortunately you won't have your own assignment to study from but you will have the solutions.

- All the grades we have up through HW #6 have been posted in the online system. If you see any discrepancy please bring the offending assignment or exam with you to the final and hand it to me before we begin. I will make the necessary changes during the exam and give you back your materials.

- The final exam will have the same format as all the others: one regular sheet of paper and otherwise closed book. I will be expanding the equation sheet re-posting it shortly. As usual please bring a calculator; nothing fancy needed.

- Unfortunately there's no good opportunity for office hours next week. If you have questions between now and the exam please send an email to me and / or our TAs and will do our best to answer them.

HW #4 has been posted a bit early in case anyone would like to take advantage of office hours tomorrow and / or get an early start on it.

Good luck to everyone on midterm #1. Remember to bring a calculator (nothing fancy needed), be clear, neat, and organized in your solutions, wait to plug in numbers until your final answer, and don't be afraid to use words to explain what you're doing. I will see you on Tuesday. -MC

Midterm dates will be 10/25 (Thursday) and 11/20 (Tuesday)
