The Role:
Tutor Me Education has helped thousands of students and institutions achieve academic success through private tutoring.The expanding popularity of our services can be attributed to our selective retention of quality tutors and a professional team of people who truly care. We are looking to add an account manager to our office in Westwood Village (next to UCLA) who shares these same values.
This role requires you to listen to the needs of parents/students who call us and offer them solutions through our tutoring services. We are looking for people that enjoy talking (a lot!) and are able to build and maintain customer relationships through providing concierge-level support.We especially care about the way you’ll converse with clients, your attention to detail, and your willingness and ability to help a busy, quality-conscious team fulfill its promises. An essential part of this role will include fostering one-call resolutions for current clients.
Essential Functions:
A routine day for any individual in this role would be filled with answering and calling incoming leads. Although part of this position is sales, parents and students are generally motivated to get started already. Each lead will need to be carefully documented into our CRM and communicated clearly with other members of our team.
Eloquent and effective communication and typing skills is a must.
Understand the products and services offered
Troubleshoot and provide scheduling support to clients and ensure their comfort with their instructors
Collect student feedback and address additional needs in order to have our clients feeling loyal and enthusiastic about their experiences
Support the Director team with administrative, operational, and organizational duties; occasionally assist with special administrative projects
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, has excellent communication skills and can intuitively find solutions to new problems. While handling the busy demands of a routine day, our ideal Account Executive will consistently think in “make sure” terms: make sure we’re following through, make sure programs are staying on track, make sure obstacles ahead are being avoided. We are looking for a demeanor that is warm, friendly and polished.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Professionalism to represent Tutor Me Education with enthusiasm, personality, and approachability
Self-motivated, committed to delivering results with minimal supervision
Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills
Compensation And Benefits:
Salary commensurate with experience. Opportunity for Health plan. Bonus potential. 7 paid holidays. 10 vacation days plus one additional day for every year worked. 4 half-days. 4 work-from-home days.
