Mendez staff got ready for the school year by engaging in a community walk! We visited Proyecto Pastoral at Dolores Mission/ Promesa Boyle Heights, Los Angeles Boys & Girls Club, Libros Schmibros and our Sylvia Mendez Wellness Center (St. John's Community Health). We learned about their services and ways that we can collaborate this upcoming school year. We are excited to incorporate more community-based learning into our . 💙
