Students were able to make their own ice cream from scratch with LEAP this past Friday. Using this as a scientific experiment while having some great ice cream to eat! 🍦🍦🍦

This past week students were able to make their own paper planes with LEAP and measure the distanced it traveled to practice their scientific reporting skills. 🐸✈️📝

This past week with LEAP, students were able to make their own vision boards to dream big and conquer. 🐸🐸🐸

The Leadership and Education Advancement Program, known as LEAP, works with under-resourced schools in South LA to provide students with tutoring, mentorship, and personal development workshops. We are organizing a fundraiser to help provide students with essential resources to promote community engagement. Please fill out this form to place an order for some sweet Oreo Bon-Bons, zesty Lemon Bars, or Banana Bread! Ingredients and prices are listed with each item. Pick-up will be available on 05/10. Delivery is also available!

Very successful and rewarding site-day with LEAP this past Friday. We learned about collaboration and teamwork with the students while doing hands on activities.

Its not too late to join. Come join us today for our weekly meeting in SAC room 106 from 7-8pm.

You can apply to become an online tutor for LEAP. You will be paired with one student throughout the quarter and provide 1 hour tutor session over Zoom.

You can begin to apply by filling out our Volunteer form in our Linktree, join our volunteer GroupMe, and come to our weekly meetings.
