Kids are forming money habits every day—not only in the classroom but also at home. 💰

Join Caprock Federal Credit Union and the Lamesa ISD community for “Raising Money-Smart Kids: From Toddlers to Teens,” a free online event with John Lanza, creator of Caprock’s Money Mammals program and author of The Art of Allowance.

You’ll learn practical, low-drama ways to use allowance and everyday moments to help your kids share, save and spend smart—plus simple strategies for talking about money and building healthy habits over time.

A credit union doesn’t renew a youth financial wellness program for 14 years because the mascot is cute.

They renew because it continues to help families. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

That’s why this GECU renewal means so much to us.

GECU was one of our earliest credit union partners, launching The Money Mammals Saving Money Is Fun Kids Club back in 2012. Since then, the program has grown right alongside the families it serves—from helping young kids build their first money-smart habits to supporting tweens, teens, parents and educators.

Today, GECU families have access to The Money Mammals powered by The Art of Allowance, with practical resources designed to support the money-smart journey at every age and stage.

Because raising money-smart kids isn’t a one-time lesson. It’s long-term work.

We’re grateful to continue that work with GECU and the El Paso communities it serves.
