May’s Cultural Lunches offered students meaningful opportunities to learn, connect, and celebrate the rich traditions and stories within our community.

In recognition of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, students explored the contributions of important figures, enjoyed creative activities, and read books that highlighted inspiring people and stories.

Students also celebrated Jewish American Heritage Month through hands-on activities, cultural snacks and drinks, and learning about notable Jewish American figures whose lives and accomplishments have made a lasting impact.

For Children’s Day, students enjoyed sushi while learning about the holiday’s celebration of children’s happiness, health, and growth.

Students also learned about LGBTQ+ Pride Month and the importance of honoring identity, belonging, kindness, and love within our community.

In celebration of Yugoslavian American Heritage Month, students explored cultural traditions through coloring activities, learning, and special treats.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers for sharing your cultures, stories, and traditions with our students. Your time and generosity helped create joyful and meaningful experiences for our community!
