In 2006 I moderated and helped coordinate the 20th anniversary tribute and panel discussion for James Cameron's ALIENS with the help of digital effects manager Gene Kozicki and former coordinator for James Cameron, Van Ling for the VISUAL EFFECTS SOCIETY. The event was held at the Egyptian theatre where the original ALIEN premiered in 1979. The panelists included Alec Gillis (creature creator for Stan Winston), VFX supervisors Robert and Dennis Skotak, ALIEN archivist Bob Burns, Model builder Pat McClung and Creature supervisor John Rosengrant.
