The new friends we encountered on our way to the cascades in Apoala! Our 11 year old tour guide Josue.The water was magical and cold. Only problem was my stomach went very wrong and so I climbed back up the huge hike like a 100 year old woman. Anyway still a beautiful day and thank you Didier and Gaby for helping.

Today was about the market and visiting our friend Cecilio at his home. My husband's longest and favorite employee ever. So fun to see his chickens, turkeys,dogs, garden and home, but best to see Cecilio and his wife.

We had amazing food and hospitality in Comedor Istmeño Casa Juchitán con la Familia de y la chef and her daughter.

After leaving 98 degree Hualruco, and drove in thunder and lightning storms for 7 hours through some amazing forests and mountains. Then dinner in Oaxaca at .el.roy . Delicious 😋

Not a bad night and day in paradise, except for the humidity.
Oh well, private patio pool and shade are my friends right now.
