Our first round will take place Sept. 29 – Oct. 3, 2025 in all residence halls + apartments. ✅

RAs + RDs will be checking for things like:

🔥 Fire hazards
🔌 Extension cord use
🪟 Window screens
🕯️ Candles/incense
🪑 Unauthorized furniture
🍳 Appliance use
⚠️ Safety issues & policy violations

👉 You don’t need to be present during the inspection. If there’s a violation, you’ll receive a notice.

Some of our systems are currently down, which may cause longer-than-normal wait times and delays in accessing residential spaces for students with an approved early arrival today (8/12).

Don't want the standard Captain bed setup? Submit your Bed Configuration Request by Monday, July 28 at 11:59 PM PT!

📌 Captain (default): Mattress ~35" high w/ under-bed storage
📌 Low: Mattress ~18" from floor, limited storage
📌 Bunk: Stacked beds (both roommates must agree – limited availability)

👉 Request form is in the Student Housing Portal via the Campus Life menu on MyLMU.

No request = Captain by default. Don’t snooze on this!
