On February 24, 2018 TESP hosted a gathering for 70 teachers and administrators around trauma and education. The goal was to provide an opportunity for different types of schools to collaborate and provide practical responses and action plans that highlighted things that teachers could do in order to better support student that are affected by trauma.
Special thanks to the attendees and collaborators such as Board Member Ref Rodriguez, Nati Rozsa, Aixle Aman, and Joshua Kaufman.

On May 20th, 2018 the LAUSD School Board presented TESP with an award and recognition for TESP’s service and support to LAUSD teachers and administrators. On hand to receive the award on behalf of TESP was Maureen Kindel, founder of TESP, and Yvette Kingberg, founding collaborator of TESP.
