Holy Name of Jesus School Los Angeles Holy Name of Jesus School first opened in 1924 with 150 students. It was staffed by the Sisters of Loretto until 1980.

In 1983, a Kindergarten class was added, and a computer lab was established in 1993. The faculty of Holy Name of Jesus is a faith community, united in heart and spirit, endeavoring to share talents and spread the Gospel of Jesus. We are committed to Catholic/Christian education and envision it as an extension of the parish's catechetical ministry, recognizing the role of parents as primary educators.
