USC Upsilon Phi Delta

On behalf of the current executive board members of Upsilon Phi Delta - USC's Health Administration Honor Society - we are pleased to announce that the UPD Executive Board application period for the 2017 - 2018 academic year is now open!

We are seeking to fill the following positions:
Executive Board Co-Presidents (2 Positions)
Executive Board Secretary (1 Position)
Executive Board Treasurer (1 Position)

Benefits of membership on the executive board include teamwork experience in planning events, developing professional development tools, and access to executives within the USC MHA program as well as leaders of Los Angeles area health care organizations.

Attached is the application. Please note that applications are due via email to [email protected] before 11:59pm on Friday, April 21, 2017.

Executive Board Applications are open to all USC MHA and EMHA students. If you are selected as a candidate for the final round of the review process, you will be contacted by the current board members to schedule a time to interview.

As an organization, we want to give back to our community and what better way then as volunteers!

We would love for you all to join us and volunteer from 11 am to 2 pm at the 2016 LULAC Feria de Salud (Health Fair) at Placita Olvera on September 25th, 2016. Attached is a flyer with more information.

League of United Latin American Citizen's goal for this event is to provide health messaging in a traditional, culturally relevant, and family friendly way to encourage adoption of healthy behaviors and foods. We would love to participate in their goal and look forward to volunteering with them as a group.

Interviews will be held on June 6th and 7th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm on campus.

Graduating students: On Friday, May 13, immediately following USC’s main ceremony at approximately 10:15 AM, please head to the West Entrance of the Shrine Auditorium (noted on attached map). You will proceed to the line-up area, where there will be a stanchion with the EMHA program name. The program signs for you to carry will be at the stanchion. Each program will line up in ONE line behind their program’s stanchion. As you process into the Shrine Auditorium, please be sure that your program line keeps up with the line of faculty or students ahead of you. There should not be a gap in the lines.



Reader cards: There will be a box by the stanchion with reader cards for students. We have filled in information on one side and request that students fill out the other side. Please help us to ensure that students complete the card with accurate information, as these cards are used by the photographer to send students their pictures following the ceremony. Students will carry the card until they walk to the stage, where they will hand the card to the name reader, who will read the student’s name as the student walks across the stage.

UPD is getting ready to elect an Executive Board for the 2016-2017 Academic Year! Board positions are open to current MHA and EMHA students. Applications will be released the week of May 16th.
