Actually... never mind 😒

Petting zoos can be extremely stressful for animals who need space, rest, and the opportunity to engage in natural behaviors. Being confined to small enclosures and forced to interact with strangers puts human entertainment ahead of animals’ well-being 👎 That’s the wrong lesson for students to learn.

Instead, field trips should help young people develop empathy and respect for animals as individuals with their own needs and interests 💚 Tap the link in our bio to learn more!
