Synapse Atelier

Summer just flew by and we are all ready to start the new preschool year! One of our fondest memories from this summer will be our trip to Saffron and Rose Persian Ice Cream! We got to try pistachio, cucumber, rose, saffron, taro, green tea, hazelnut, and more!

Hi, my name is Laila and I’m a teacher at Synapse Atelier. This year, at the end of Summer Break, I got a beautiful surprise visit from my brother and I got to share with him some of the sights of Los Angeles. In turn my brother invited me to try new foods and visit new spaces in Los Angeles and what a great reminder that there is always more to learn, and grow from our interactions! We loved the Masala Chai from Aladin Sweets (Bangladeshi Cuisine), the Cheese Fatayer from Marouch Restaurant (Lebanese & Armenian Cuisine), and the Picanha from Nossa Caipirinha Bar (Southern Brazilian Cuisine)! Life is filled with precious moments! That’s what children teach us!
