The premiere was last night, and I had the true delight of being able to chat with the incredible Gabriela Ortiz, one of the most astounding (and successful!) composers out there. Three more performances for this incredible work, inspired by the "glitter revolution" protests against femicide in Mexico. Oh, and Beethoven makes a giddy appearance, too. ;-) Come early for my pre-concert lecture!
