SHAPE at UCLA
We believe that students of all academic backgrounds can succeed through learning to be proactive in their education.
SHAPE is the Afrikan Student Union's student initiated, student-run outreach program housed in the Community Programs Office at UCLA. SHAPE exists to increase opportunities in higher education for students in underserved communities, through academic empowerment, peer advising, praxis development, field trips and more. SHAPE is taking over Afrikan Student Union at UCLA's Black Wednesday!!! There will be music, freebies, and awesome SHAPE Staff! We'll be accepting applications for Winter Quarter hiring ON THE SPOT! Spread the word -- TOMORROW 12/4 from 12-2pm on Bruinwalk across from Kerckhoff!!!

Exciting news: we are expanding! We started the academic year at Leuzinger High School and the Inglewood Teen Center, and will be including another site, launching in January.
To service, empower, mentor, and build up the students at our forthcoming site, the Afrikan Student Union and SHAPE are looking for dedicated, committed, consistent, and community-oriented Bruins to serve as Peer Advisors and Skill Builders. Spaces are limited, so please apply soon or pass this information on to anyone you know would be interested.

SHAPE is in full swing! Today we'll be at Leuzinger High School! E-mail [email protected] if you want to volunteer!
Get ready to welcome SHAPE back to the great CITY OF INGLEWOOD!!!!!!! Starting Tomororw, 10/31, SHAPE will be providing support to students at the Inglewood Teen Center, located inside the Inglewood Library (right across the street from Inglewood High School).
SHAPE will be there every Tuesday and Thursday from 3-6pm! Spread the word!
