Using urban ecology to partner with communities to build resilient, vibrant, and just cities.

The Center for Urban Resilience (CURes) is dedicated to serving urban communities with a suite of research, education, restorative justice and urban planning programs designed to improve quality of life for residents, especially for those in underserved neighborhoods. We use urban ecology to empower communities to build resilient, vibrant, and just cities through meaningful interactions with their diverse ecosystems.

CURes has teamed up with UMass in animal behavior research and we are looking for participants for a very fun and cute project! The goal is to watch 1-minute videos of puppies to identify a specific behavior called grab-bite. Please view the tutorial on the home page to begin; you can sign in with Google or Facebook, and we recommend using a laptop or desktop to maximize the view.

You can view up to 80 views, but any and all participation is helpful and appreciated. Feel free to share this project with anyone you think may be interested, as we are aiming for participation from all age groups. Please let us know if you have any questions.
