Happy Birthday to the historic TCL Chinese Theatres , one of my favorite places in the world! 98 years ago today Grauman’s Chinese Theatre opened, and I have so many special memories of seeing incredible movies with my friends and family! Here’s to many, many more!

While I love speaking about historic theatres IN a historic theatre, the goal with my presentations is to bring the magic and grandeur of these movie palaces to the audience. I've spoken at clubs, schools, meeting rooms, and homes, and I can come to your venue, whatever it is!

Escott O. Norton grew up in the worlds of both theatre and architecture. His mother, Sally, co-founded the Occidental College Summer Drama Festival, and his father, Oakley, a math teacher and pioneer in progressive education, designed and built all of Escott's childhood homes.
