UCLA AFROTC Awards

On Saturday, May 30th, Brother James Lybolt and Bill Harrington spoke to the esotouric walking tour about the veterans buried in the Bartlett-Logan, and Kenesaw G.A.R. sections at Evergreen Cemetery in East LA.

JROTC awards ceremonies at Garfield H.S., Paramount H.S., Washington H.S., as well as UCLA Air Force ROTC.

Memorial Day ceremony at Mountain View Cemetery, in Altadena. Attending form the Camp were Nick Smith, Dean Smith, Lowell Harris, Hal Cardwell, and James Henkel. Sister Elizabeth Courtney, DUVCW Tent 87, also attended. There were 30 from the community.

The first Pass In Review ceremony this morning at Washington H.S. It involved squads from LAUSD JROTC programs, and from LAPD, and LAFD Cadet programs. The LA Police Chief, and other brass, plus the LAUSD Superintendent, and one of the School Board members attended.

Today, I was honored to attend an Eagle Scout Court of Honor and present a commendation and patch on behalf of Rosecrans, Camp No.2, SUVCW to Moses Perez of Scout Troop 179
