October 22nd, 2014..... We had fellow Ovahness Leader Rodger Washington in the spotlight and he shared so many intimate and inspiring stories about his life. We Thank Rodger for being so transparent about his life and talking to other leaders about the importance of being your true self!

We continued the 2nd half of the meeting with a very vivid conversation/focus group facilitated by UCLA, where we discussed HIV Testing, the options, challenges and Successes in Los Angeles County.

Past, Present and Future......

OVALNESS BALL 9 (October 18th, 2014) was truly a great success!!!!!!!!! Thank you to everyone that had a part of making i happen and all those that attended! We also were able to test 200 people for our 20 Days of Testing and we appreciate all of our PHW's for making it a priority for you to educate your community and bring people in to learn their status. Please stay tuned for the Ovahness Ball next year!!!! 10th Anniversary, and we plan on it taking place on Columbus Day Weekend. Save the date now!!!!!

On October 14th, 2014, Father Mike Roberson-Garcon came to facilitate a very informative meeting about The History of Ballroom, The Art of Vogue and The Culture of House and Ballroom... and how it plays a role in todays society. This meeting was well attended, well received, and it truly left a great mark for people that were curious about the Ballroom Scene, which left people anxious to attend our Ovalness Ball 9!!!!!!!!

October 8th, 2014, Ovahness Leader Nijeul Porter was in the spotlight, where he helped facilitate the Ovalness Meeting, we discussed Values, and this highly impactful meeting left us all with greater intentions on how to live by the things we value and how it may truly impact our lives. Thank you Nijeul for an amazing experience.
