šŸŒŸ STAFF SPOTLIGHT: MR. HURST! šŸŒŸ

This week weā€™re shining the spotlight on Mr. Devin ā€œDevoā€ Hurst! Now in his 3rd year at Woodlake and his incredible 31st year in education, Mr. Hurst loves watching his studentsā€™ creativity come alive and seeing their young minds grow throughout the year.

When heā€™s not teaching, you might find him coaching high school water polo, camping, fishing, boatingā€¦ or apparently juggling! And if you ask his students to describe him? Bald, fair, and funny. šŸ˜‚

Join us at 6pm in the auditorium for pizza, salad, and chicken bites from our friends at Ameciā€™s. Meeting will begin at 6:30pm, childcare provided by our own 5th grade teacher Ms. Watsabaugh! AND donā€™t forget to join/renew your PTSA membership. All active members by 5pm tonight will be entered into an opportunity drawing for a gift basket valued at $489! The winner will be announced at tonightā€™s meeting.

šŸŒŸ STAFF SPOTLIGHT: MRS. SALZMAN! šŸŒŸ

This week weā€™re shining the spotlight on Mrs. Mary Salzman! šŸ’™šŸ¾ Now in her 5th year at Woodlake and her 20th year in education, Mrs. Salzman brings so much warmth, kindness, and joy to her Kindergarten classroom. One of her favorite parts of the day is greeting her students each morning, hearing their stories, and watching them grow throughout the year.

Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Salzman loves going for walks, baking cookies for family and friends, and this year she took on her sweetest new role yet... Grammy to baby Cooper!
