Los Angeles Trade Tech Cosmetology, Barbering & Skin Therapy

It’s that time of the year again….enrollment for our 6th-12th grade Spring STEAM Academy is now open. The STEAM Academy begins Saturday, February 10th and continues until June 2, 2018.

Classes are open and completely FREE to students in grades 9-12th and for highly recommended 6-8th graders. We encourage you to RSVP at lattc.edu/steam

Meet two of our graduating barbers who are the first to obtain their license in the LATTC Barbering program which was implemented two years ago. This program is the first barbering program at the community college level in the state of California. Congratulations!!

Interested in joining our Cosmetology program? Don't know where to start??? This class is now returning after 3 years! Sign up now! Cosmetology 101 Section #4305 will begin on July the 17th and end on August the 17th. This course will introduce students to the field of cosmetology. Trade Tech has done it again! Congratulations to Grand Prize Winner Jose Miguel Salas Diaz!!! This is Trade Tech's 4th Grand Prize Winner of the Junior Style Stars National competition within 7years. Booth rent starts at $100 weekly and goes up $25 every other month until you reach the original price of $200 weekly. This method allows you to build your clientele without the worry of making ends meet. The salon refers each new stylist all new clients, walk-ins, and add ons. Building clientele depends on your skills, work ethic, and professionalism. You attract your tribe💁🏽 There is one station available . The salon comes equipped with two shampoo bowls, fresh towels, clean restroom, fridge, microwave, three hooded dryers and one is portable. Each station has a storage unit as well as additional shelving for your implements and work area.
