Clinical partners are such an important part of the student experience.
They open their doors to future healthcare professionals, share their time and knowledge, reinforce the importance of safe and professional practices, and provide opportunities for students to experience what working in a real healthcare environment looks like.
Every clinical relationship is built on trust, communication, and a shared commitment to helping students grow—and we are incredibly grateful for the professionals and organizations who continue to welcome and support Smith Chason students.

Externship is where classroom learning, hands-on lab practice, and professional preparation come together in real healthcare environments.
Students have opportunities to observe clinical workflows, apply their knowledge, strengthen technical and patient-care skills, communicate with healthcare teams, and continue building confidence under professional supervision.
