At RKMS, LELs stand for “Life Experience Lessons,” and the purpose of these fields trips is to enable students to learn by experiencing life activities that invoke education, fun, and reflection. This year, we took 23 graduated 8th grade students to San Francisco for a week trip where they toured different universities, tried new foods, took a shot at a new sport, and learned different meaningful life lessons for one last time from their chaperones. This is day 1 and 2. Enjoy!

Over the last 6 weeks, Rise Kohyang Middle School’s 7th grade students dove into independent research on notable scientists. Today, they stepped into the shoes of these trailblazers, presenting their achievements as if they were them. We are proud to present Living Museum (part 1). A huge thank you to both Teacher Blanton and Ms. Wagner for facilitating the students’ work and a special shoutout to Teacher Blanton for their tireless work behind the scenes to ensure today’s exhibition ran smoothly.
