Turning ideas into impact. 📦✨

The Annual Global Supply Chain Club Case Competition brought together USC graduate students for an afternoon of problem-solving, collaboration, and innovation. Participants tackled real-world supply chain challenges, worked in teams to develop strategic solutions, and presented their recommendations to a faculty panel.

Hosted by the Global Supply Chain Club (GSCC), the competition gave students the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to industry-focused scenarios while building leadership, analytical, and presentation skills.

Our GSCM Club recently visited an Amazon fulfillment center, where students experienced the full lifecycle of an order— from inventory storage and picking to packing and shipment preparation.

This behind-the-scenes tour offered valuable insights into large-scale operations, automation, and the efficiency that powers modern supply chains.

Experiences like these bridge classroom learning with real-world impact.

Students from the USC Master of Science in Global Supply Chain Management program partnered with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank for a meaningful day of service, bringing supply chain principles to life beyond the classroom.

Together, they sorted and packaged over 45,000 pounds of food, supporting large-scale distribution efforts that directly impact communities across Los Angeles.

This experience highlighted an important truth: supply chain is not only about efficiency and optimization, it is about resilience, responsiveness, and driving impact where it matters most.

Proud to see our students applying their skills to support critical humanitarian efforts and grateful to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank for the vital work they do every day.
