We’re honored to partner with the restaurant Joy for another fundraiser. In addition to their tasty food, they also believe in giving back to the community. This month the proceeds from the sale of the Mexican wedding cookie will go to MWPCCC. It’s a tasty way to support the work we all value so much! (We recommend the dan dan noodles and thousand layer pancake 😋)

It’s the holiday season and the Harry Pregerson preschool classroom is getting into the spirit with Aiden the Elf.

“The presence or absence of play, particularly in child development, has a great deal to do with competency, resiliency, emotional health [and] brain size,” Brown said. Play is “not frivolous and not just for kids, but something that is an inherent part of human nature.”

The benefits of play are immense across all ages, research shows Experts say such play time should not just happen outside of school or at recess, but should be a necessary part of teaching and learning.

The funds we raise will go towards teacher appreciation, scholarships, and center improvements. Located on York in Highland Park, Joy is also available for delivery on the Caviar app and takeout on Toast Tab.

This month we will be celebrating Infants! All aspects of these tiny, sweet, amazing, gifted, humans. Everyone knows, whoever has worked, or been around me for more than 20 minutes, is that I love Infants.
During this month we will explore books, songs, toys for Infants. Tummy time and the Safe Sleep Connection, Responsive Attachment Caregiving, RIE, and massage.

Our schools are in need of donations for much-needed supplies to keep our teachers and children safe!
We use gloves to change diapers, clean owies, wipe noses, etc... We did all of this before Covid-19. We typically paid $41.00 for a case of 10 boxes of gloves. Today we found out that it is $95.00 for one case! Each center uses a case every two weeks!
