UCR Los Angeles Alumni

Hello Highlanders! Come and join us to watch the UCR Men's Basketball team play against Long Beach State and meet up with fellow Highlanders for a pre-game Mixer.

Date : Thursday, January 15th.
Mixer time and location: 5-6:30 pm at the Octopus Grill (on CSULB Campus)
Game time and location: 7 pm at Walter Pyramid

$25 registration includes food bites at the pre-game mixer and your game ticket.A mixer-only option for $10 is available for those who already have a game ticket.

Join UCR alum Tuong-Phu Ngo '02 and Team Dragon Eyes to learn the art and skill of dragon boat racing! Dragon boat racing originated in ancient China and has evolved into a global phenomenon. UCR even has its own team! No experience necessary - this is a great opportunity to meet fellow alumni in the L.A. area in a casual, fun environment and is a partnership with our up-and-coming Asian American Pacific Islander Network. 🐉

Today is Giving Tuesday, the international day of giving back! The the UC Riverside L.A. Alumni Network, has selected the Guardian Scholars Endowed Fund for the Support of Foster Youth. This fund helps provide academic and emotional support services to youth who were raised in foster care, including access to on-campus year-round housing, individual mentoring, mental health resources, life literacy and leadership seminars, scholarship assistance and bi-weekly community and cultural enrichment activities.
