Building community before classes even begin as upperclassmen (in blue shirts) showed freshmen around campus yesterday. 👍

Freshman Year: Chapter 1, Day 1 is officially in the books for the Loyola High School Class of 2030! 🐾

Huge shoutout to our Student Activities department, President Jamal K. Adams '90, Principal Dr. Paul D. Jordan '88, faculty, staff, and upperclassmen for welcoming this freshman class and making it a memorable first day.

Happy Feast Day of St. Ignatius of Loyola! 🤲 Today, we express our gratitude for the life, wisdom and reflection on the blessings of St. Ignatius—founder of the Society of Jesus—and remember his teachings about finding God’s presence in all things.

We held our annual summer retreat for our Maintenance and Facilities staff at the Mater Dolorosa Retreat Center. This was a day of recharge, reflection and appreciation to the people who daily make Loyola High feel like a community. 🙌

Loyola High School hosted over 110+ guests on campus for the annual 𝐈𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭! 🙏

We were thrilled to bring together Loyola High, Homeboy Industries and Ignatians West for a day of regional collaboration. A huge thank you to the three representatives—Loyola alum Fr. Greg Boyle, SJ ’72 (Founder Homeboy Industries), Dr. Ann Holmquist (VP for Mission, LHS) and Anne Hansen (Executive Director, Ignatians West)—from these Jesuit ministries for making this day possible.
