Picture this: teachers on high alert, one sprinting like lightning to catch the runaway chickens. 🏃‍♀️ Meanwhile, one of our little ones, peeping through the window, turned into a superhero, expressing their concern for our precious chickens 🐓 in the midst of all the chaos! With intense compassion, they exclaimed, “I must help teacher X because she can’t manage it alone!” 😍

It’s awe-inspiring to witness how our children step up to the plate and take responsibility for the well-being of our feathered friends. 💪 Let’s give them a round of applause for their heroic efforts! 🙌 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️

Healthy habits take patience and intention. At Barefoot we grow some of our own (it’s a seasonal thing) and take the time to sent intentions. It’s the way we talk to children, the way we listen to them. It’s a reciprocal relationship based on trust & respect.

Trust is a value to never be devalued. It’s challenging for many people. In the practice of being an ECE Director trust has led me through many years of growth. In my past I’ve struggled with it many life times ago. Now I have learned to take a deep breath and let go. Trust is an interconnected process that takes time. As a leader of a community and children Trust has been an integral part of my journey. With myself and others. I’m not responsible for how others feel, I’m responsible for how I conduct myself. To trust is to be free.
