DOWNBEAT! A Music Enrichment Club is now offering socially distanced, in-person private lessons. All you need is an instrument, a will to learn and a front or back yard! Our modified learning environment brings the music to your doorstep while following CDC Guidelines. Instruments offered: Violin, Cello, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Ukulele and Guitar. Registration is now open for our 2020/2021 Music Enrichment Club. DOWNBEAT! Offers affordable group lessons for children in 3rd-12th grade. Students can choose one of eight instruments; violin, cello, guitar, ukulele, flute, clarinet, trumpet and saxophone. Registration closes on September 7th and classes start on September 14th.

Hello All, DOWNBEAT! A Music Enrichment Club is looking for a Wind Instructor that can teach flute, saxophone, clarinet and trumpet for an after-school music program at Gage Elementary School in La Mesa. The program runs from January 17th- June 5th. It’s only once a week, every Friday 2:15pm-3:15pm. Instruction is only 45 minutes long with a 15 minute tuning/rest time. Pay is $50/hour. Classes are made up of 3rd-5th graders and it is a beginner band class. Classes start this Friday, the instructor we had fell through last minute and we are in need. DOWNBEAT! A Music Enrichment Club is looking for 2 teachers, one strings and one winds teacher to teach after-school music courses at Gage Elementary School in San Diego, Ca. The program is set to begin in early January 2020. Must have a B.A/B.M in music or working towards their degree. This is great opportunity for anyone who loves to work with children or is looking to hone their teaching skills. Pay is based on experience. This is independent contractor work.
