My relationships with jobs are very similar to those that I have with people: some are stepping stones, some stay with us forever.

I was recruited by a peer/friend to YogaWorks in 2007 for my experience as a fitness pro who taught yoga. I was to integrate what we later coined as “mindful fitness” classes into the newer membership studios without offending the yogis or diluting the yoga programming. HA! Some loved it, some were most certainly offended.

What started as a teaching and consulting position snowballed into a role on the leadership team that consumed my life, until it didn’t. It then tapered the opposite direction to simply teaching classes in studios, then only on the digital platform when COVID kept us apart, then both studio and digital, and then back again to only digital. Phew! What a ride!

And now, the final iteration of my love story with YogaWorks: after 16 years, my last YogaWorks class (live-stream) will be Monday, April 24th.

I’m grateful to YogaWorks and our relationship for many reasons. I already said goodbye to all the wonderful memories that came before our relationship was simply digital, so it’s the digital platform I will honor right now. Thank you, YogaWorks, for yet another opportunity, to connect with wonderful humans, this time, from around the globe.

While I will no longer be streaming on the YogaWorks platform, I will continue the same M/W/F 9:15am classes on my personal stream which you can find on my website. (Link in bio.)
