My training was done with the Coaching Training Institute (CTI) which is the world’s oldest and largest in-person coach training organization. CTI’s model is Co-Active, with the Coach working hand-in-hand with the client to help them come to their OWN conclusions and solutions rather than being dictated to. Coaching engagements can last as short as a few months (there’s an immediate issue that needs attention) or much longer. It all depends on what the client wants to accomplish and the pace at which they’d like to experience results. In either case, we will constantly work together to identify desired outcomes and keep driving towards those goals. Sessions are usually conducted via phone or Skype although in-person meetings are also possible if geography and schedules cooperate. Among the many areas that are often explored are:
