Top 5 reasons to attend the Burbank Institute this year.
5) Conference to Classroom- Every session is designed so you can use what you learn Monday morning. Real tools. Real resources. Real impact.
4) Industry Insights- Hear directly from creative professionals who don't just talk about the industry- they're actively invested in the next generation of creators.
3) Your People- Educators from across the country who get it. Who are doing the work of connecting creative classrooms to creative careers. You'll leave with a community, not just contacts.
2) Friday Field Trips- Exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to Nickelodeon, Disney, Dolby, and more. Not a tour. An experience.

BIG high five to the Issaquah School District for their inspiring work last week with Creative Educators Network. We spent three days in sunny Seattle with this community of dedicated creative educators, who completed the CEN Course and Pathway Design professional development workshop. In addition to the work these teachers did to strengthen their pathways, each day we gained inspiration and insights from different creative industry partners. Thank you Ramfis Myrthil and Ramfis Productions for sharing insights from your film career, Nicole Hendrix and BRIC Foundation for the incredible insights on the creative economy of Washington as well as a multitude of resources, and CEN Board Member Lisa Pedee for putting together our incredible Amazon Design panel with Brittany Roberts, Randy Rajaram, Rikki Teeters to wrap up the amazing week.

Throwback to last Friday when Creative Educators Network went to Disneyland! Executive Director Ashley Adams joined Alameda County’s Bernard Phelan at the Disney Arts Ed Leadership Summit to discuss leveraging CTE and the Arts! And we were thrilled to share former CEN speaker Margaret Chandra Kerrison’s book on Immersive Storytelling with our attendees.
