Grad Slam Spring 2026

Thank you for those who participated. Grad Slam was a success. Our top three winners were 1st Place STEM: Arielle Limbo 2nd Place STEM: Randy Munoz 1st Place Non-STEM: Brenda Drew. Our first two 1st place winners will be going to CSU-Wide Grad Slam.

Cal State LA will be having a Grand Slam Competition where two winners will advance to the CSU-Wide Grad Slam. Applications are now open. To learn more about the Grad Slam. Click the link on our bio for more information.

On Wednesday February 4th from 3:00pm-4:30pm the Graduate Resource Center will host a open house where students can learn about funding opportunities, resources, and support. Any one is welcomed. Refreshments will be provided. Event will be located at LIB N A124.

Join us on Thursday January 29th from 1:00pm-2:00pm for the Pre-Doctoral Program. Students who are interested will learn opportunities about doctoral study and academic careers. Event will be located at the Graduate Resource Center (LIB N A124).

Planning to earn your PhD or Doctorate degree and thinking about teaching in the CSU system? Apply to the Chancellor’s Doctoral Incentive Program. It will provide you witb mentorship opportunities and offers subsidized educational loan up to $30,000 with a potential loan cancellation.
