As graduation approaches, we’re celebrating the Class of 2026 by highlighting some of their final experiences at Wise. Follow along each day as we look back on the moments, traditions, and milestones that made their journey unforgettable. As part of their final week of Hebrew and Israeli Culture Studies at Wise, our sixth graders put their knowledge to the test with a fun game of Israeli Food Go Fish! From familiar favorites to new discoveries, students celebrated the language, culture, and traditions they’ve explored throughout their years at Wise.

Yesterday was such a special day at our Hagigat HaTorah Assembly as our kindergarten students received their very own mini Torahs. We are so proud of these sweet learners as they continue growing in their Jewish journey with curiosity, joy, and open hearts. Another meaningful part of the celebration was having our 6th grade students join alongside their kindergarten buddies, making this milestone even more special through the friendships and connections shared across generations of learners. May these Torahs inspire a lifelong love of learning, tradition, and connection. 📖✨

Our 4th graders had an unforgettable field trip to Sacramento yesterday! From exploring Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park and visiting the California State Railroad Museum to riding through Old Sacramento in a horse-drawn carriage, and trying their luck at gold panning. students had so much fun experiencing California history firsthand. They also met Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel, and even had the exciting opportunity to step onto the floor of the Assembly! Everyone had an amazing time learning about California history and government while making incredible memories together.

Second Grade visited Our Big Kitchen L.A. They had a great time making over 2,000 patties and 500 chocolate chip cookies for the less fortunate. Students were given chocolate chip cookies to go so that they could pay it forward! A good time was had by all!

Our sixth graders recently took a field trip to the Getty Villa, where they explored the impact of the Silk Road throughout ancient civilizations. As they toured the exhibits, students searched for evidence of cross-cultural connections and influences through the lens of historians. By examining trade routes, commonly used materials, and everyday objects, they saw firsthand how ancient antiquities tell rich and often unwritten stories of connection between cultures. What a cool day of hands-on learning!
