Meet our President, Caleb Cheung!
Caleb is a Junior in Civil Engineering and he’s what keeps us close as a brotherhood!

“I grew up in the church fully embracing Christianity but saw it as a lifestyle that not everyone could live out. At a church camp, God highlighted my own sins and loneliness to me, but showed me true grace and love through lyrics in musical worship. Realizing God’s personal relationship with me motivates me to spread the Gospel when I can and show sacrificial love to others. My life is not mine to begin with and I hope to serve Him and others for the rest of my life.

I joined AGO to keep my faith strong during my time at UCLA. The biggest way God has refined me probably would be learning to do faith in community. I’m grateful for the fun experiences and inclusion that come with a tight-knit group of guys seeking the Lord. But I’m also grateful for the drama because it has made me a more resilient and ultimately, loving person. Being president of AGO is often a pain, but it’s also a blessing to serve brothers and receive fellowship!”

Meet our Secretary, Miles! Typing test god (100 words per minute) is one way to describe him. You could also describe him as swimmer, 2nd year biophysics major, surfer, and rock climber!

“Before joining AGO I never really felt a huge community for Christians in my hometown but AGO provided that community here at UCLA. I could not be more grateful for my brothers. God really shows through these guys. They have given me a lot and my relationship with God has grown even stronger because of them.”

Meet our current Treasurer, Josh. As a chemical engineering 4th year, he’s perfect for the job of making sure we don’t go into crippling debt.

“As someone who grew up in the church, I’ve always known Jesus but never what his love means for me and how to serve Him. When I rushed Alpha Gamma Omega in Winter 2021, I learned how Jesus loves, through the actives who showed so much care towards me by spending so much time with me, a complete stranger. Their love for me pointed back to Jesus’s love and they continue to constantly pour into me, even a year later.”

Josh also loves anime, Tetris, spending time with friends, and saying the stupidest jokes conceivable to man.
